Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – chenai (suran)
• For grinding :
• 4 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 3 flakes – Garlic
• 1 – small Onion
• Ginger, small piece
• Salt

Method:

  1. Cut the chenai into medium square pieces of 1/2 inch thickness.
  2. In a vessel pour enough water to boil the chenai pieces. Mix in the ground masala paste.
  3. Boil it till no water is left and masala is well mixed with the pieces.
  4. In a frying pan, pour 2 tbsp oil and fry the chenai pieces till golden brown colour.
