Ingredients:

• 1 kg – Chicken
• 4 – Onions
• 6 – Tomatoes
• 2-inch piece – Ginger
• 1 – Garlic Clove
• 1 bunch – Coriander leaves
• Few sprigs – Curry leaves
• 10 – Red Chillies
• 5- Cloves
• 7 – Green chillies
• 1 tbsp – Garam Masala
• 2 tbsp – Chicken masala
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 7 inches – Cinnamon
• 5 – coriander
• 5 tbsp – oil
• 250 ml – water
• salt required

Method:

  1. Finely grind ginger, garlic, coriander and half of the curry leaves.
  2. Heat cooker, pour oil and add cinnamon, red chillies and cloves and saute.
  3. Add onions and fry till golden brown.
  4. Add the remaining curry leaves, tomatoes and the ground paste and saute.
  5. Add garam masala, chicken masala, turmeric powder and stir well.
  6. Add cut chicken pieces, stir for 3 minutes.
  7. Add water, salt and split green chillies.
  8. Pressure cook for 15 min on high flame, simmer for 5 minutes.
  9. Open cook for 10 minutes, stir well and serve.
