Ingredients:
• 1 kg – Chicken
• 4 – Onions
• 6 – Tomatoes
• 2-inch piece – Ginger
• 1 – Garlic Clove
• 1 bunch – Coriander leaves
• Few sprigs – Curry leaves
• 10 – Red Chillies
• 5- Cloves
• 7 – Green chillies
• 1 tbsp – Garam Masala
• 2 tbsp – Chicken masala
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 7 inches – Cinnamon
• 5 – coriander
• 5 tbsp – oil
• 250 ml – water
• salt required
Method:
- Finely grind ginger, garlic, coriander and half of the curry leaves.
- Heat cooker, pour oil and add cinnamon, red chillies and cloves and saute.
- Add onions and fry till golden brown.
- Add the remaining curry leaves, tomatoes and the ground paste and saute.
- Add garam masala, chicken masala, turmeric powder and stir well.
- Add cut chicken pieces, stir for 3 minutes.
- Add water, salt and split green chillies.
- Pressure cook for 15 min on high flame, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Open cook for 10 minutes, stir well and serve.
