
Ingredients:
• Chicken joints – 750 gm
• Tomato – 1 cup, chopped
• Mustard oil – 3 tbsp
• Onion – 1 cup, sliced
• Ginger-garlic paste – 3 tsp
• Green chillies – 2, slit
• Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in kadai. Fry onion till light brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry till fragrant.
- Add tomato and continue to fry till tomatoes are pulpy.
- Add chicken, green chilli, chilli and turmeric powders and salt.
- Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add about 1.5 cups of water and simmer till the chicken is cooked.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
