Ingredients:
• 1 kg – chicken, cut into medium-sized pieces
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 3 – dry red chillies, broken into bits
• 1 tsp – garlic-ginger paste
• 3 – tomatoes, chopped
• 2 – onions, sliced finely
• 1 tsp – spice powder or Garam Masala powder
• 1 tsp – ground pepper powder
• 1/2 tsp – whole pepper Corns
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 3/4 cup – red wine
• salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and add the dry red chillies, onions and pepper corns and fry until golden brown.
- Add the chicken and saute for a few minutes until it changes colour.
- Now add the other ingredients and stir well.
- Simmer on low heat until the chicken is tender and the gravy is thick.
- Serve with rice, chapatti or bread.
