
Ingredients:
• 1 kg – chicken, cut into medium pieces.
• 2 – onions, sliced finely
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 2 tsp – Garlic paste
• 2 – large tomatoes, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 3 tbsp – oil
• To taste – salt
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan. Saute the chopped onions and garlic, till golden brown.
- Add chicken, chopped tomatoes, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt and mix well.
- Cover and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Add half a cup of water and simmer on low heat, till the chicken is tender and the gravy thickens.
- Serve hot with rice, bread or chapattis.
