
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – chocolate chips or buttons
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• 2 cup rice, Wheat or other cereal
Method:
- Form diya moulds with well pressed foil paper. Keep it aside.
- Boil water in a large pan or a double boiler.
- Place a small pan over the simmering water.
- Add chocolate chips and butter, stir gently while melting it.
- When it becomes smooth and even in texture, add cereals.
- Mix it well, take it off the fire and let it cool a little.
- Pour a small portion into a prepared diya, press it into shape with the back of a teaspoon.
- Repeat this for the remaining mixture.
- Allow it to cool and harden.
- Refrigerate if necessary until it becomes hard.
- Carefully pry it out of the mould, peel off the foil and place it on a plate.
- Fill as desired.
- Repeat for all the diyas.
