Ingredients:

• 2 Egg whites
• a pinch each of salt and Cream of tartar
• 3/4 cup – Sugar
• 1 cup – chopped chocolate

Method:

  1. Beat together egg whites, salt, and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
  2. Add the sugar gradually, beating to the peaks. Mix in the chocolate.
  3. Spoon in rounded shapes on baking sheets lined with greased brown paper.
  4. Bake in a moderate oven for 25 minutes.
  5. Cool slightly before removing from paper.
