Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Butter
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1 3/4 cup – flour
• 1/4 cup – unsweetened cocoa
• 2 tsp – vanilla
• 2 tsp – instant coffee of any variety
• 2 cups – finely chopped Pecans
• 2 tbsp – powdered Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – salt

Method:

  1. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the flour, cocoa, vanilla, coffee, and salt.
  3. Mix well, and then fold in the pecans.
  4. Roll the dough in small balls, about 3/4 inch in diameter, and place them on a greased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 325 degrees F for 15 minutes.
  6. Cool, and then roll in powdered sugar.
