Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup – chick peas
• 1 tbsp – onions, chopped
• 1 tbsp – tomatoes, chopped
• 1 tbsp – cucumber, chopped
• Few springs – coriander leaves, chopped
• 1 – Green chilli chopped
• 1/2 tsp – thick Tamarind paste or Lemon juice
• 1/2 tsp – Dates syrup or Honey
• 1/8 tsp – dry Ginger powder
• 1/2 tsp – aamchoor powder
• Chaat masala as desired
• Pepper powder – as desired
• Khara boondi or sev

Method:

  1. Wash and soak chickpeas in water for at least 12 to 18 hours, replace water every 6 hours
  2. Pressure cook chickpeas till soft.
  3. Add all the ingredients except boondi. Toss well.
  4. Serve with boondi or sev (mixture) topped on it.
