Ingredients:
• 1.5 cup – all-purpose flour
• 1.5 tsp – instant Yeast
• 1/2 cup – warm water
• 1/4 tsp – salt
• 2 tbsp – Brown sugar
• 1/2 tsp – Cinnamon powder
• 1/2 tsp – vanilla essence
• 1/2 cup – Curd
• 1/2 cup – Milk
• For Topping:
• 1/4 cup – warm water
• 1 tbsp – baking soda
• 1 tsp – Brown sugar
• 2 tbsp – Butter melted
• 1 tsp – vanilla essence
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 degree celsius.
- Grease and dust an 8 inch round pan.
- Blend sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Add curd, milk, oil and vanilla essence to the flour mixture and beat until well incorporated.
- Add the boiling water and beat till mixed well
- The batter will be thin.
- Pour it into the greased and dusted cake pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- For frosting:
- Melt butter.
- Sift the cocoa powder into the butter and mix well.
- Add sifted icing sugar and milk alternately and beat to combine.
- Add the vanilla essence and mix well.
- Frost the cake with this and chocolate shavings.
