Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Prawns or shrimps, cleaned
• 1 cup – thick Coconut Milk
• 1.5 cup – thin Coconut Milk
• 1/2 cup – sour green mango, chopped
• 1/2 cup – finely chopped Onion
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 2 tsp – green chillies, minced (discard seeds)
• 2 tsp – Kashmiri chilli powder
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• Salt to taste
Method:
- If green mango is not available, 2 teaspoons of tamarind paste or 1/2 cup extract from lime-sized ball of tamarind may be used.
- Combine all the ingredients together.
- Heat till the contents begin to boil.
- Simmer till the prawns are cooled (Avoid overcooking, which makes prawns hard.).
- This is a very quick and simple curry, served with steamed rice.
