
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – grated Coconut
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• A few – Dried red chillies
• Mustard Seeds – 1/4 tsp
• Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
• Cloves – 3
• Pepper Corns – 10
• Curry leaves – a few
• 2 pinches – Asafoetida
• Salt
• 1 tbsp – Butter
• Basmati Rice – 2 cup, cooked
Method:
- Spread the cooked rice in a wide plate to cool
- Heat butter in a deep pan and when it melts splutter mustard seeds and urad dal
- Cook till dal becomes golden brown. Then add cloves, split red chillies, pepper corns, cumin seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida.
- Finally add the grated coconut. Fry the coconut to light brown
- Mix rice to the fried mixture. Serve it with a little bit of ghee on the top
