
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – colacacia root/arvi
• 2 – onions, chopped
• 2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• Salt to taste
• 3 tbsp – oil
Method:
- Cut colacacia into small cubes.
- Boil colacacia with salt in sufficient water till soft.
- Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions till they turn golden brown.
- Add chilli, coriander, turmeric and cumin powder and fry for a while. Finally add boiled colacacia and mix well.
- Simmer on low heat for about 5 or 6 minutes
- Serve as a side dish with rice or chapattis.
