
Ingredients:
• Colocasia – 1/2 kg
• Salt – to taste
• Asafoetida – to taste
• Chilli powder – to taste
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• Besan – 2 tbsp
• Oil – 3 tbsp
Method:
- Steam colaccasia in a cooker. Turn the gas off when the first whistle comes and let it cook in the steam until done.
- Cool it for some time, peel and then cut into cubes.
- In a plate, take salt, asafoetida, chilli powder, turmeric powder and besan, and mix the powders well.
- Sprinkle this on the cubes and leave aside for 10 minutes.
- In a non-stick pan heat oil, add mustard and urad dal and splutter.
- Add the colaccasia and cook on low fire.
