Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – Beef cut into medium pieces
• 2 – big tomatoes, pureed
• 3 – Cloves
• 2 – pieces of Cinnamon
• 2 – Cardamoms
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 2 – onions, chopped
• 1 tbsp – chopped Mint leaves
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 2 – Potatoes

Method:

  1. Wash the meat and the potatoes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add the onions, cloves, cinnamon, cardamoms, bay leaves, ginger paste and garlic paste.
  3. Fry for a few mins
  4. Add the meat and the chilli powder and mix well.
  5. Keep frying on low heat for some more time.
  6. Now, add the tomatoes, salt, mint leaves, potatoes, and mix well.
  7. Add sufficient water and cook till the meat is done and the gravy is thick.
  8. If cooking in pressure cooker, turn off the heat after 6 whistles.
  9. Serve hot with rice.
