Ingredients:
• Paneer cubes – 1 cup
• Chopped Capsicum – 1/4 cup
• Onions, chopped roughly – 2
• Tomato puree – 1/2 cup
• Coriander – 1/2 a bunch
• Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
• Garam Masala – 1 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Butter – 2 tbsp
• Oil – 2 tsp
• Milk – 1/2 cup
• Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
• Coriander leaves for garnishing – 1 tbsp
• Kasuri Methi for garnishing – 1 tsp
• To make a paste :
• Tomatoes chopped – 1
• Garlic chopped – 1
• Cashew nuts (soaked in hot water for 1 hour) – 7-8
Method:
- In a non stick pan, dry saute capsicum and paneer cubes till they turn light brown and keep aside.
- In the same pan, add oil. Saute onions and garlic till it becomes light brown.
- When it cools, add the sauteed onions, the ingredients for paste and grind it to a smooth paste.
- In the same pan, add butter and splutter cumin seeds.
- Add the paste and saute for 5 mins.
- Add the garam masala, chilli powder, salt, tomato puree and mix well.
- Add the milk till it comes to a boil.
- Add the sauteed paneer, capsicum and mix well for 2 mins.
- Garnish with kasuri methi and coriander leaves.
