
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – rava (semolina)
• 2 cups – fresh Curd
• 1/2 cup – peas
• 1/2 cup – fresh coriander (finely chopped)
• 1 tbsp – Ghee
• 1/2 tsp – mustard
• 1 tsp – Channa dal
• 10 – Curry leaves
• 2 – Green chillies (finely chopped)
• 1/2 tsp – soda
• 1 tsp – salt
Method:
- Heat ghee in a pan.
- Add mustard. When it splutters add chana dal.
- When it turns red, add green chillies and curry leaves.
- After 2 seconds, add rava and roast on medium flame till you get a nice aroma.
- Add peas and coriander and roast for two minutes.
- Remove from heat, add salt and soda and mix.
- Allow to cool.
- Then add curd. Mix well.
- Immediately pour it into greased idli moulds or small katoris and steam for 10 mins.
- Serve with coriander chutney or potato pathal bhaji.
