
Ingredients:
• 1/2 tin sweet Corn Cream style
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 2 pieces Cinnamon
• 4 Cloves
• 3 stalks celery, chopped
• 1/2 cup – parsley, chopped
• 2 to 3 green chilies, chopped
• 1 tbsp – garlic, chopped
• 1 cup – Onions
• 1 cup – cabbage, roughly chopped
• 1 cup – carrots, sliced
• 1/2 cup – beans, chopped
• 1/2 cup – Tomato sauce
• 1/2 cup – grated cheese
• 1/2 kg – Potatoes
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• 2 to 3 tbsp – Milk
• salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- In a microwave safe bowl, combine oil, cloves, cinnamon, green chilies, onion and garlic.
- Cook without covering on high for 5-7 minutes, till the onions are soft.
- Add carrot, cabbage and beans. Cook covered for 8-10 minutes.
- Meanwhile boil, peel and mash the potatoes. Add butter, salt, pepper and milk and keep aside.
- When the vegetables are cooked, add sweet corn, salt, pepper and tomato sauce. Mix in the cheese.
- Spread potato mixture carefully on top and cook on high for 4 minutes. Serve hot as a main course
