Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Green peas
• 200g – Paneer
• 6 – Cashew nuts
• 1 – Tomato
• 3 – Onion
• 1/4 inch piece – Ginger
• 5 Cloves – Garlic
• 1/2 cup – Curd
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• Turmeric powder – a pinch
• Salt to taste
• Coriander leaves – few sprigs

Method:

  1. Dice paneer into cubes and shallow fry them until they turn golden brown.
  2. Cook peas and keep it aside.
  3. Take 2 tsps of oil in a pan and saute roughly chopped onions (2), ginger, garlic, tomatoes and cashews. Sprinkle some water and cook it for few mins.
  4. Allow it to cool and grind into fine paste.
  5. Take a pan and add 2 tsps of oil and put in the cumin seeds and the ground paste.
  6. Fry for few mins and add finely chopped onion and saute again.
  7. Add chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt to it and mix well.
  8. Add the cooked peas and adequate water to make the gravy and let it boil for five mins.
  9. Reduce the heat and add curd and fried paneer to it and cook for few mins.
  10. Finally garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  11. Serve.
