Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – fish
• 1 – Onion
• 12 Cloves – Garlic
• 1-inch piece – Ginger
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1 – egg, beaten
• Bread crumbs for coating
• Salt to taste and oil for frying

Method:

  1. Clean and bone fish.
  2. Cut lengthwise into fingers.
  3. Grind together onion, garlic, and ginger.
  4. Mix in coriander powder, chilli powder, salt, and lemon juice.
  5. Rub masala into fish fingers on all sides.
  6. Keep aside for 2 hours.
  7. Dip in egg and roll in bread crumbs.
  8. Deep-fry in hot oil till golden brown.
  9. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
