Ingredients:

• 4 slices – bread
• 1 – onion, finely cut
• 1 – tomato, finely cut
• 3 – green chillies, finely cut
• 250 g – plain Curd
• 2 tbsp – vegetable oil
• 1 tsp – small rai
• 1 tbsp – grated Coconut powder
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cut the bread diagonally (one bread slice into 2 triangles) and keep them aside.
  2. Mix finely cut tomato, onion, chillies and salt in the plain curd. (Drench out water form the curd if necessary)
  3. Spread the above curd on the bread slices and make them like a sandwich by covering them with the other plain bread slice.
  4. Heat oil in a flat pan
  5. Add rai also to the hot oil.
  6. Shallow fry the bread sandwich till light golden brown.
  7. Serve hot and decorate with grated coconut powder on top of the dahi-bread sandwich
