Ingredients:

• 2 lb – Mutton
• 1 tbsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 4 – Potatoes
• 4 – onions, chopped fine
• 3 – Bay Leaves
• 2 inch piece – Cinnamon stick
• 8 – Cloves
• 1 cup – plain Yoghurt
• 2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• Salt to taste
• Oil for cooking

Method:

  1. Marinate mutton pieces with ginger-garlic paste for 10 mins.
  2. Pressure cook mutton and set aside.
  3. Peel, wash and cut potatoes into long wedges.
  4. Add oil to vessel and fry potato wedges and set aside.
  5. To oil, add bay leaves, cinnamon and cloves.
  6. Add onions and fry till golden brown.
  7. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, yoghurt and salt to taste.
  8. Next add cooked mutton pieces, garam masala and mix well.
  9. Then add potato wedges and mix well and cook on slow flame for a while. Serve
