
Ingredients:
• 300 gms – Small Brinjals
• 1/2 cup – Mustard oil
• 3 tsp – Mustard paste
• 1.5 cups – Blended Dahi
• 1/2 tsp – Haldi powder
• 1 tsp – Sugar
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Slit the brinjals without cutting them.
- Heat oil and fry the brinjals till half tender.
- Mix the remaining ingredients and cover with a lid and cook on low flame till the brinjals are tender and the mustard pste and the dahi is absorbed into the brinjals leaving a little gravy.
- Mix in the sugar and stir till it melts.
- Serve with hot rotis or rice
