Ingredients:
• 1.5 cup – Almonds
• 1 cup – dudhi (bottle gourd), grated
• 1 tbsp – cornflour
• 1 tbsp – Butter
• 1 cup – Milk
• 2 tbsp – Cream
• 4 cups – water
• 8 to 10 – almonds, sliced long and fine
• Pepper – to taste
• Salt – to taste
Method:
- Soak the almonds in water for 1 hour and then remove the skin.
- Boil the almonds and the grated dudhi in 1 cup water for 5 minutes.
- Put the mixture in the blender and blend.
- Mix corn flour in 1 cup milk.
- Heat a non-stick pan and add butter and pepper.
- Mix in the blended mixture and the corn flour and milk.
- Keep stirring till it becomes thick.
- Serve the soup hot, garnished with cream and almonds.
