Ingredients:

• 1.5 cup – Almonds
• 1 cup – dudhi (bottle gourd), grated
• 1 tbsp – cornflour
• 1 tbsp – Butter
• 1 cup – Milk
• 2 tbsp – Cream
• 4 cups – water
• 8 to 10 – almonds, sliced long and fine
• Pepper – to taste
• Salt – to taste

Method:

  1. Soak the almonds in water for 1 hour and then remove the skin.
  2. Boil the almonds and the grated dudhi in 1 cup water for 5 minutes.
  3. Put the mixture in the blender and blend.
  4. Mix corn flour in 1 cup milk.
  5. Heat a non-stick pan and add butter and pepper.
  6. Mix in the blended mixture and the corn flour and milk.
  7. Keep stirring till it becomes thick.
  8. Serve the soup hot, garnished with cream and almonds.
