Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup – cooked daal
• 1 tbsp – Jeera
• 1tbsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tbsp – rasam powder
• 2 tbsp – Jaggery
• 1 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves
• 1 tbsp – Curry leaves
• 2 – Tomatoes
• 2 tbsp – Tamarind paste
• 2 tbsp – oil
• Salt – to taste
• 2 cups – water
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard and jeera seeds.
- Add chopped tomatoes and tamarind paste with 1 cup water and mix well. Bring to a boil.
- Now add the cooked daal and boil once more.
- Add chopped coriander, curry leaves, and salt to taste.
- Then add rasam powder and jaggery.
- Simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with rice.
