Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Channa dal
• 1 cup – whole Urad Dal
• 1/2 cup – Rajma
• 10-15 Cloves – Garlic
• 2 medium – onions, chopped
• 2 medium – tomatoes, chopped
• 2-3 – green chillies, chopped
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – cumin powder
• 1 tbsp – coriander powder
• Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
• 1 inch – ginger, chopped
• Salt – to taste
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Butter
• Kasoori Methi

Method:

  1. Soak the rajma, channa dal and urad dal overnight. Wash and pressure cook till done.
  2. Now, take a pan and heat oil in it.
  3. Add chopped garlic and fry till it turns brown.
  4. Now, add onions and chillies and sautee for 5-10 minutes till the onions are golden brown.
  5. Add tomatoes, red chilli powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder and cook till the tomatoes and masala are well done.
  6. Add boiled dal and butter; cook for 1 minute.
  7. Now, add salt and coriander leaves and cook on low heat till you get a slightly thick consistency.
  8. Sprinkle kasoori methi over the dal and cook for another 2 minutes.
  9. Serve with roti, naan, paranthas or rice.
