Ingredients:

• 1 tbsp gram flour (besan)
• 1 tbsp Wheat flour
• 1 tbsp Bajra flour
• 1 tbsp jowar flour
• 1/2 tbsp Rice flour
• 5-6 Green chillies (finely chopped)
• 10-12 Garlic flakes (chopped evenly)
• 2 tsp Jeera whole
• 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
• 1/2 tsp Haldi (or just enough to give colour to the flour mixture)
• coriander (finely cut)
• oil
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Put the five flours in a bowl.
  2. Add garlic, jeera, haldi, asafoetida, coriander and green chillies.
  3. Add salt to taste.
  4. Add water to the mixture to prepare a thin batter.
  5. Add 1 tbsp of oil to the mixture and keep aside for 15-30 minutes.
  6. Heat a fry pan and add a tsp of oil.
  7. When the pan is hot, put some batter randomly (not the way we make dosas).
  8. With the flame high and cover the batter.
  9. When the batter starts leaving the sides of the fry pan, drop some oil around it.
  10. Turn and cook the other side for a few minutes.
  11. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
