Ingredients:
• 1 cup – sooji (rava)
• 1 cup – Curd
• Few flakes – Ginger
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Turmeric
• 1 tsp – sesame seeds
• 1 tsp – mustard (rai)
• Coriander leaves
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Add the curd to rava and ferment it for overnight.
- In the morning, when the mixture has raised slightly than the normal level, add the few flakes of ginger into it along with salt, turmeric and green chillies.
- Take the vessel to make dhokla or some flat bottomed vessel that will fit the cooker and put the mixture into it.
- Put the lid of the pressure cooker and allow it to steam without the weight for 15 to 20 mins.
- After 15 to 20 mins, switch off the cooker.
- When the cooker cools down then place the cooked dhokla in the plate and cut it into squares.
- Take a small pan and then put some oil.
- Add sesame seeds and mustard.
- When the mustard begins to spurt then put it on the dhokla.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves.
