Ingredients:
• 227 gms – flour
• 60 gms – Finely cut nuts
• 1 tbsp – Sugar
• 1 tbsp – baking powder
• 60 gms – maple syrup
• 50 gms – Milk
• 2 large eggs
• 2 tbsp – vegetable oil
Method:
- Put the flour, sugar and salt into a mixing bowl and add the baking powder, milk, eggs and oil.
- Stir all of it thoroughly. Cover the batter and let it rise for 30 mins.
- The donut moulds may be greased with cooking oil.
- Stir all ingredients thoroughly until the batter is smooth.
- Preheat the donut making appliance for 5 mins. Fill in one level tbsp. of batter per donut mould and close appliance.
- Baking time would be 30 mins or until the desired degree of brownness has been achieved.
- Take finished donuts from the mould and use up remaining batter in the same way.
- Top with icing and sprinkle nuts and maple syrup over it.
