Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – Mutton pieces
• 2 – onions, finely chopped
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – black pepper powder
• a handful – Curry leaves (roasted in a pan and ground to a fine powder)
• 1 glass – water
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 2 tbsp – Curry leaves
• 1 – Capsicum finely chopped
• 1 tbsp – Vinegar
• salt to taste
Method:
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pressure cooker and fry the chopped onions to golden brown.
- Add ginger paste and garlic paste, then the mutton pieces and fry.
- Add red chilli and black pepper powder and mix well.
- Add salt to taste.
- Add curry leaves powder and mix well.
- Add a glass of water and pressure-cook until the mutton is done.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add the curry leaves.
- Add the chopped capsicum, the cooked mutton pieces and stir until the water evaporates.
- Add vinegar and mix well. Serve with rice and dal.
