Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – Mutton pieces
• 2 – onions, finely chopped
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – black pepper powder
• a handful – Curry leaves (roasted in a pan and ground to a fine powder)
• 1 glass – water
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 2 tbsp – Curry leaves
• 1 – Capsicum finely chopped
• 1 tbsp – Vinegar
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pressure cooker and fry the chopped onions to golden brown.
  2. Add ginger paste and garlic paste, then the mutton pieces and fry.
  3. Add red chilli and black pepper powder and mix well.
  4. Add salt to taste.
  5. Add curry leaves powder and mix well.
  6. Add a glass of water and pressure-cook until the mutton is done.
  7. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add the curry leaves.
  8. Add the chopped capsicum, the cooked mutton pieces and stir until the water evaporates.
  9. Add vinegar and mix well. Serve with rice and dal.
