Ingredients:

• 3kg – red dry chillies
• 10g – aniseed (suwa, shopa)
• coriander/dhania
• 250g – turmeric/haldi
• 250g – till (sesame seeds)
• 250g – Mustard Seed
• 250g – kus kus (poppy seeds)
• 250g – Channa dhal (Kabuli Channa)
• 250g – whole Wheat
• 250g – peppercorns
• 10g – maipatri
• 50g – Cinnamon
• 10g – Cardamoms
• 10g – Cloves (spice)
• 10g – bardian
• 10g – kababchini
• 10g – tirphal
• 10g – naikaiser
• 10g – zaipatri
• 250g – jeera/cumin seeds

Method:

  1. Clean the ingredients and dry them in the sun.
  2. Roast each ingredient separately in an earthenware pot.
  3. First pound the red chillies and then the others. Mix them thoroughly and bottle them in perfectly dry bottles.
