Ingredients:

• 1 cup – basmati Rice
• 1/2 cup – mixed vegetables
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/2 tsp – Ghee
• 1/2 tsp – oil
• 1.5 cups -water to cook
• Salt as required

Method:

  1. Wash the rice well and cook in a pressure cooker along with the mixed vegetables, turmeric powder, half tsp garam masala, red chilli powder, salt and water.
  2. When the rice is done, add the remaining half tsp garam masala along with the ghee or butter and mix well.
  3. Garnish the pulao with roasted cashews and mint or coriander.
