
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – basmati Rice
• 1/2 cup – mixed vegetables
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/2 tsp – Ghee
• 1/2 tsp – oil
• 1.5 cups -water to cook
• Salt as required
Method:
- Wash the rice well and cook in a pressure cooker along with the mixed vegetables, turmeric powder, half tsp garam masala, red chilli powder, salt and water.
- When the rice is done, add the remaining half tsp garam masala along with the ghee or butter and mix well.
- Garnish the pulao with roasted cashews and mint or coriander.
