Ingredients:

• Channa Dal(soaked) – 1 cup
• Onion – 1
• Tomato – 1
• Coriander leaves – a small bunch
• Cashew -10
• Ginger – 1 tsp
• Garlic -1.5 tsp
• Garam Masala -1 tsp

Method:

  1. Fry the chopped onions till golden brown. Add all the ingredients (except coconut) along with fried onions and grind well.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add the ground mixture, salt and water as needed for consistency.
  3. Grind coconut finely with a little water.
  4. After oil gets separated from the mixture, add coconut mixture and let it boil for 10 or 15 minutes.
