Ingredients:
• 1 packet – Macaroni or Pasta
• For grinding:
• 1 cup – grated Coconut
• Green chillies – a few
• Coriander leaves -2 sprig
• Curry leaves – a few
• Ginger – 1/2 inch piece
• Onion – 1
• Salt to taste
• For tadka:
• Cumin seeds -1/2 tsp
• Mustard – 1/2 tsp
• Urad Dal – 1/2 tsp.
Method:
- Cook the macaroni in a vessel, with sufficient water till tender and drain the water.
- Make a paste of the grated coconut, green chillies, coriander leaves, curry leaves, ginger and onion.
- Add salt to the paste.
- In a kadai, make a tadka of cumin seeds, mustard and urad dal with little oil. Add the above paste and saute for 5 minutes.
- Then add the cooked macaroni and mix them all together, cook for 5-7 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves.
