
Ingredients:
• 3.5 cups – Cashew nut powder
• 1. 75 cups – Sugar
• 1.75 cups – water
• 2 tbsp – liquid glucose
• 1.5 tbsp – Ghee
• Silver foil
Method:
- Cook sugar and water together till the temperature reaches 118 degree C or when the syrup becomes sticky, and when pulled between two fingers it forms threads.
- Add liquid glucose and ghee and stir well.
- Remove the mixture from the flame, continue to stir and add cashew powder.
- Stir till the temperature comes down to 65 degree C, and if necessary, add some water.
- Knead the mixture into soft dough.
- Grease a flat surface with some ghee and spread the dough and maintain approximately 1 cm thickness.
- Apply butter paper on it to smoothen out the surface.
- Remove the paper and cut diamond shaped pieces.
- Serve after decorating it with silver foil.
