Ingredients:

• 6 to 7 – Potatoes
• 1 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Dhania powder
• 1 tbsp – Garam Masala
• 2 tbsp – finely chopped Coriander leaves
• 16 – bread slices
• Oil to shallow fry
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Boil and peel the potatoes.
  2. Add salt, chilli powder, dhania powder, garam masala, and coriander leaves to the potatoes.
  3. Mash the potatoes and make dough.
  4. Cut the bread slice into half.
  5. Pour water on one piece of the bread and squeeze to take out the water.
  6. Then put approximately 1 teaspoon of potato dough in the centre and fold to seal it.
  7. Do the same with the remaining slices.
  8. Heat oil in a pan and shallow-fry the potato surprise till it turns golden brown in colour.
  9. Drizzle more oil if required.
  10. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
