
Ingredients:
• 1 big glass Rice – boiled and set aside.
• 2 large Potatoes – boiled, peeled and cubed.
• 1/2 cup – peas.
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder.
• 1 tsp – jeera.
• 1 tsp – mustard seeds.
• Curry leaves – a few.
• Lime juice.
• salt to taste| For the Paste:
• 1 large bunch – Mint leaves (pudina).
• 6 to 7 – green chillies.
• 3 inch – ginger.
• 1 tsp – shahjeera.
Method:
- In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. When they begin to splutter, add jeera and then curry leaves, peas, cubed potato pieces and fry until golden brown.
- Add the mint paste and fry for some time. Then add turmeric powder.
- Then lime juice and fry for some more time.
- Lastly add rice, mix well and fry for a few more minutes.
- Serve hot.
