
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – whole Wheat flour + 1 tbsp for dusting
• 1 cup – all-purpose flour
• 1 cup – rolled oats
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 cup – Butter
• 1/4 cup – buttermilk
• 1/4 tsp – salt
• 1/4 cup – chocolate chips
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• 1/2 tsp – baking soda
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- Blend together sugar and butter into a smooth paste.
- Meanwhile mix together whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, rolled oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt together.
- Add these dry ingredients to the sugar-butter mixture and mix them as crumbly texture.
- Finally add butter milk little by little and turn them as soft dough.
- Now add the chocolate chips to the dough and mix gently until the chocolate chips get well mixed.
- In a baking tray, sprinkle flour and place the dough and roll with rolling pin, brush the dough with buttermilk and cut the dough as wedges.
- Bake them for 20-25 minutes until they turn brown.
