Ingredients:
• 1.5 cups – All purpose flour/Maida
• 3 tbsp – Corn flour
• 100 g – Butter
• 4 tbsp – Sugar
• 1 tsp – Baking powder
• 1/2 tsp – Baking soda/sodium bi carb
• 1/2 cup – Condensed Milk
• 1/3 cup – Soda water
• Salt
• 1 tsp – Vanilla essence or Chocolate essence
• 4 tbsp – Tutti fruity
• Egg replacer:
• 2 tbsp – Water
• 1/2 tsp – Baking powder
• 2 tsp – oil
Method:
- Mix maida, corn flour, baking powder baking soda and salt well, in a large bowl.
- Powder the sugar.
- Soften the butter and beat it with sugar in a bowl.
- Add the egg replacer, condensed milk and essence to the beaten butter and sugar and beat again till smooth.
- Add this to the mixed flour and mix well.
- Add the soda water and mix well.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
- Lastly add the tutti fruity to the batter and mix well.
- Grease a baking tray with butter/oil and pour the mix into the tray.
- Decorate it with Chocolate chips or Chocolate vermicelli
- Bake for 35 minutes or until the cake is done, you can check by inserting a knife, if it comes out without sticking, then your cake is done. After done, cool down and then slice it and enjoy.
