Ingredients:
• 1 cup – whole Wheat flour
• 1/2 cup – all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tbsp. – baking powder
• 1/4 tsp – salt
• 250 ml – Milk (approx.)
• 3 tbsp. – Sugar
• 3 tbsp. – butter, melted
• Honey for serving
Method:
- In a mixing bowl, mix wheat flour, all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.
- Add in the milk and whip well. The batter should not be runny; it should be thick, so adjust milk accordingly.
- Now add in some melted butter and stir well.
- Set aside batter for 5 mins.
- Now, heat your waffle maker till it gets smoky. Brush/spray with some oil.
- Pour some batter into the maker and close it. Cook it according to the instructions on the waffle maker (approx. 4 to 5 mins). Keep a close watch to check that it does not char.
- Remove carefully and place on a plate.
- Drizzle as much honey or maple syrup as you like and serve.
