
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – French beans
• 3 – Raw bananas or 1/2 kg – Potatoes
• 1 tsp – Black Peppercorns
• 2 – dry Red Chillies
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/4 – fresh Coconut (grated)
• 3 tsp – cooking oil
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• Few Curry leaves
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Cut the vegetables into big pieces.
- Boil them with 4 glasses of water, turmeric powder and salt.
- Grind pepper, red chillies and half of the grated coconut with a little water.
- Add this ground mixture to the boiled vegetables.
- In a hard bottom pan, pour oil and add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and the remaining grated coconut
- Fry till coconut turns colour and add the boiled vegetable mixture
- If it turns out too thick, you can add water.
