Farali Sevpuri is your one tasty destination for farali recipes! This spicy, tangy and tasty chaat or snack dish made with rajgira papdi that is topped with diced potato, chutneys, potato-sev and all last garnish with pomegranate seeds and coriander leaves. Ingredients:

To Make Papdi

– 1 cup rajgira flour
– Oil for frying
– Rock salt to taste
– Water as required

To Make Sev Puri

– 1 large boiled, peeled andamp; chopped potato
– 2 teaspoons red chilli powder
– 3/4 cup pomegranate kernels
– 1/2 cup potato sev
– Green coriander chutney as required
– Curd as required (Seasoned with roasted cumin powder and rock salt)
– Mint chutney as required
– Date-tamarind chutney as required
– Rock salt to taste
– Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped

How To Cook?

To Make Papdi

1. In a bowl, combine together the rajgira flour and rock salt. Add little by little water and knead a hard dough.
2. Divide the dough in a medium sized balls and roll out into thin large circle.
3. Using a small round cookie cutter cut roundels from the rolled dough.
4. Repeat this procedure until all the dough is rolled and cut into roundels.
5. Now, heat sufficient oil in kadai and once hot deep fry them till golden and crisp.

To Make Sev Puri

1. Arrange the papdis on a plate, place some chopped potato on each papdi.
2. Top each papdi with 1 teaspoon of seasoned curd, 1/2 teaspoon mint chutney, 1/2 teaspoon coriander chutney, 1/2 teaspoon date-tamarind chutney.
3. Sprinkle some potato sev and pomegranate kernels over the papdis.
4. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve immediately.
