Ingredients:

• 4-5 – fresh Red Chillies
• 1 tsp – Jeera
• 1 inch – Ginger
• 3-4 – Cloves of Garlic
• 2 tsp – Peanut powder (roast groundnuts and grind)
• 1 bowl – Curd
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cut the chillies into rough pieces and shallow fry in 1 tsp oil for 2-3 minutes. Also fry jeera and garlic with it.
  2. Make a paste with garlic, ginger, salt and jeera.
  3. Transfer to a bowl, add curds and peanut powder and mix well.
  4. This hot, sour chutney goes well with parathas, roti or even plain dal rice.
