
Ingredients:
• Fish slices – 1/2 kg
• Onions – 1.5 cup, chopped
• Green chillies – 6, chopped
• Ginger – 2 cm, chopped
• Garlic – 1 pod, chopped
• Chilli powder – 3 tsp or to taste
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Oil – 4 to 6 tbsp
• Cold idlis – 10 to 12
• Coriander leaves – 2 to 3 tbsp
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Steam the fish with salt and 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- | Cool and remove bones and flake the fish
- Add chilli powder, turmeric and salt if necessary and mix well
- Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions until pink
- Add the green chillies, ginger and garlic and fry well
- Now add the fish and fry for about 2-3 minutes
- Crumble the idlis and add to the fish mixture
- Stir on low flame for 1 min
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
