Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – fish, cut into thick slices
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 3 – tomatoes, pureed
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• salt
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp – Vinegar
• 3 – onions, sliced finely
Method:
- Wash the fish and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions for a few minutes.
- Add the ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and salt and fry for a few minutes.
- Add the tomato puree and vinegar and mix it well.
- Fry for a few minutes.
- Add 1/2 cup of water and bring it to a boil.
- Drop in the fish pieces and mix it well.
- Simmer on low heat till the fish is cooked.
- Serve it with bread or chapattis.
