Ingredients:
• Boneless fish or salmon fish – 1/2 kg
• Split peas dhal – 50 g
• Egg -1
• Oil to fry
• To grind:
• Pearl Onions
• Ginger – 1 inch piece
• Garlic – 5
• Saunf – 1 tsp
• Cinnamon – small piece
• Cloves -2
• Cardamom – 1(small)
• Few Coriander leaves
• Green chillies -2
• Red Chillies -3
• salt to taste
Method:
- Wash the fish and steam. When it cools down, remove the skin and smash well.
- Grind split peas dhal to fine powder and keep it aside.
- Grind all the given items to fine thick paste.
- Add small amount of water while grinding.
- Add ground paste, egg, split peas, dhal powder to the smashed fish and smash the mixture well.
- Make small fish balls (gooseberry size) and deep fry.
- Serve with steamed rice.
