Ingredients:

• 1 kg – Pomfret fillets
• 1/2 cup – Coriander leaves (chopped)
• Lemon juice – 1 no
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – ajwain powder
• 1 tsp – Saunf powder
• 1/4 tsp – red color (optional)
• 2 tbsp – Rice flour
• Salt to taste
• Oil to fry

Method:

  1. Apply salt and turmeric to the cleaned fish fillets. Keep it for 1/2 hour.
  2. Mix together all the ingredients in lemon juice (except oil and rice flour) to make masala.
  3. Apply this masala to the fish and let it marinate for 1-2 hours.
  4. Heat a fry pan and add 1 tbsp oil and let it heat.
  5. Then roll each fish fillet in the rice flour.
  6. Shallow fry till light brown on medium flame.
  7. Remove when fried on both sides.
  8. Serve hot.
