Ingredients:

• 300 g – Tilapia fillets
• 1 – Onion, grated
• 1 – Tomato, grated
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 3-4 tsp – Tomato sauce
• 3-4 tsp – Chilli sauce
• 350 g -White flour/maida
• 2 tsp – Oil
• Salt to taste
• Water (for preparing the dough)
• 2-3 g – Yeast

Method:

  1. Boil the fish fillets in water for 10 mins
  2. Strain the water when it softens. Keep the fish aside
  3. Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions and tomatoes.
  4. Cook until the vegetables soften.
  5. Add the garlic paste and salt to it.
  6. Now add the fish to the vegetables and mix well.
  7. Cook till the vegetables and fish are done. Mash and keep aside.
  8. Now prepare a dough with white flour, oil, salt, yeast and water and keep aside for 30 mins
  9. The yeast will help in making the dough fluffy and soft
  10. Divide the dough into 30 portions
  11. Now roll out 3″ chapattis from the portions
  12. Add one scoop of the mashed fish and place on the chapatti in the centre
  13. Fold from both the ends in a cylindrical shape
  14. Close both the ends
  15. Place the roll on a frying pan and toast on dry heat (without oil) for 2 mins on both sides
  16. Now heat oil in a pan and deep fry the baked roll until a golden brown.
