
Ingredients:
• 2 cans – Tuna fish (drained)
• 1 – Egg
• 1/2 – Onion (finely chopped)
• 1/2 – Tomato (finely chopped)
• 1 – Green chilli (finely chopped)
• 1 tbsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 2 – Potatoes (mashed)
• 1/2 tbsp – Soya sauce
• Breadcrumbs
• Chilli powder to taste
• Pepper to taste
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in a large skillet. Add the ginger-garlic paste and chopped onions and fry it till lightly brown.
- Next, add the tomato and green chilli.
- After about 5 minutes, add the tuna fish and mix well.
- Add the soya sauce, salt, chilli powder and pepper powder to your liking.
- Turn off the heat and add the mashed potatoes – making a dough-like paste.
- Let it cool until the paste is easy to work with.
- Beat the egg and set aside.
- Heat oil separately in a pan on medium low.
- Form 1-inch balls out of the tuna mixture.
- Dip it in the egg first and then cover it with the bread crumbs, before frying it in the oil.
- Once they are lightly brown on all sides, take them and drain. Serve hot.
