Ingredients:

• 1 cup – All-purpose Flour (Maida) (135 gm)
• 6 tbsp – Unsalted Butter (at room temperature)
• 1/2 cup – Powdered Sugar (80 gm)
• 1/3 cup – Tutti Frutti
• 1 to 2 tbsp – Milk

Method:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add powdered sugar and butter.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add maida, tutti frutti and mix well.
  4. Add milk to form a soft sticky dough.
  5. Lay down a butter paper and roll out the dough to form a log (dust flour if needed).
  6. Wrap it with butter paper and freeze it for 40 minutes.
  7. Take the log out and slice the dough into round cookies with a sharp knife.
  8. Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F /160 degrees C for 10 minutes.
  9. Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with butter paper, leaving space between each cookie.
  10. Bake it at 160 degrees C for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden brown.
  11. Transfer carefully to a rack and cool it. Store in airtight container.
